Our trustees guide us in everything we do at Opportunity Green. We are incredibly fortunate to have an impressive board with vast experience across many domains.

  • Rachel Goodwin

    Rachel Goodwin

    Rachel is the Chair of Trustees at Opportunity Green. She is an executive coach and founder of Wordwise Coaching where she also hosts a podcast.

    She has a long track record of helping senior clients achieve their potential. Her work across a range of sectors gives her an insight into the crucial role of skilled leadership and organisational culture.

    These elements are at the heart of Opportunity Green and she is proud to play a role in supporting the growth of this purpose led charity and the crucial work it is doing.

  • Anna Bonderenko

    Anna Bonderenko

    Anna brings a wealth of experience to Opportunity Green. She spent the early part of her career in the for-profit world in finance and tech, then moved to the non-profit space, with the last 15 years spent working with NGO's on behalf of many important issues including homelessness, AIDS/HIV, at-risk youth, the arts and higher education.

    Over the last decade she's been focused on the environment, first in Development, then as a Managing Director. She has worked with funders and organisations across the globe including The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales and Environmental Defense Fund.

    She currently works for the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty on the supply side of fossil fuel production.

  • Gbemi Oluleye

    Gbemi Oluleye

    Gbemi is an assistant professor at Imperial College London and a consultant in the clean technology space. Her experience working in clean technologies and fuels spans across policy, business and academia.

    In her role at Imperial, Gbemi leads a research group focused on modelling the uptake of clean technologies and fuels for decarbonising hard-to-abate and hard-to-electrify end-use systems.

    Gbemi completed her education up until bachelors in Nigeria, worked for two years focusing on the design of low-carbon industrial systems, and then came to the UK for a Master’s in Advanced Chemical Process Design.

    After that, she spent three years working on the design and assessment of low-carbon energy systems before completing her PhD.

  • Isabelle Rojon

    Isabelle Rojon

    Isabelle is a Transport Specialist at the World Bank where she works on national and regional maritime decarbonisation projects whilst also participating in the IMO’s climate negotiations.

    Before joining the World Bank, she spent six years at UMAS International leading the group’s work on maritime climate policy. Isabelle currently pursues a part-time doctoral degree in climate finance at University College London.

  • Faresi Farisai Nyaoda

    Faresi is a governance professional with an MBA in Financial Services from the University of Zimbabwe. She has spent most of her career in the corporate sector, with more than 20 years of experience working in diverse financial accounting and internal auditing roles, gaining extensive insight into financial management.

    Since 2010, Faresi has worked exclusively for charity and not-for-profit organisations and she brings this experience to our board in the role of treasurer.

    In this role, Faresi is responsible for overseeing Opportunity Green’s financial management and ensuring that our resources are used effectively to achieve our goals.
